Know the Facts for Colorado!
RE: Official Voter Change of Information Notification letter you received in the mail and you are thinking! HUMM, I did not change my voter registration information!!
BUT did you change something with Driver’s License or renew your Driver’s License?
If yes, that is why you received this type of letter from our office. We receive information from Colorado Department of Revenue Driver’s License on any new voter registrations or changes with Driver’s License records and our office must match that information for voter registration.
This could be any number of things listed below:
- Name change: first, middle or last
- removal of middle initial or
- add middle initial or
- add complete full name: first, middle. last
- Address direction: North, East, South, West
- Address change: Fourth Street to Deerfield Street or
- Address clarification: Fourth Street to Fourth Avenue
