2025 Box Office Staff and Ticket Takers & Ushers
LOGAN COUNTY is looking to hire additional Box Office Staff as well as Ticket Takers and Ushers for the Logan County Fair the week of July 28, 2025 through August 3, 2025. We are seeking self-motivated, flexible, and responsible individuals to work shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours a day including both day and night shifts.
Box Office Staff will be selling event tickets and providing information to the public. Those individuals selected to work in the ticket office must have cash handling experience.
Ticket Takers/Ushers will take tickets at the gates, ushering ticket holders to the seats noted on the ticket stub, assisting with handicapped seating and other duties that may be deemed necessary by the Event Seating Coordinator. This includes all grandstand gates, cowboy drive thru gate and walk thru gates.

Logan County Attorney
Legal Assistant
The Logan County Attorney's Office in Sterling, Colorado seeks a part-time, (20 hours per week) Legal Assistant with flexible working hours available. We prefer a legal assistant/paralegal with at least two years of relevant training and/or experience to assist attorneys with legal word processing, litigation support, research, scheduling and general administrative tasks. Working knowledge of the Colorado Courts E-filing system and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Excel, Outlook and Adobe computer software is desired. The successful applicant will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
The pay range is from $18.2057 to $24.0225 per hour, depending on experience and/or qualifications. Benefits included are paid time off and retirement. Road and Bridge Department
Road and Bridge Mower Operator
Logan County is accepting applications for a flexible individual to serve as a seasonal mower for Logan County Roads during the months of April thru October.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
AND
2. Ability to operate tractor mower.
Special Qualification:
Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Buildings & Fairgrounds Maintenance Worker
Logan County is seeking a full-time individual to perform a variety of working level, basic grounds keeping tasks requiring a wide range of abilities related to turf care, sprinkler system installation, clean-up, snow removal, and other related duties. Apprentice level preventive maintenance of facility systems and equipment. General maintenance in repair on county buildings.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
AND
Two (2) years of experience performing the above or related duties.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualification:
Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Case Worker
Full Time position. Performs a variety of full performance advanced level complex technical and professional duties as needed to expedite child investigative services in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines and laws.
Services provided include the following child welfare areas: counseling, parent education, case planning and management involving circumstances such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, child neglect, foster care, youth in conflict, and related manners.
Conducts inquires concerning allegations of child abuse, youth in conflict, and/or neglect in home or institutional settings, interviews child(ren)/youth, parents, providers, and collaterals and assesses risk and safety to the child/youth; documents the investigative assessment process as required in the State database.
Minimum education: 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university in social work or one of the human behavioral science fields plus one year required internship/residency.
Starting Salary: $21.3517 per hour - negotiable dependent on education & experience. Benefits to include: Health, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance; Retirement; Paid time off (PTO).
