Logan County Fair

2023 Box Office Staff for the Logan County Fair & Rodeo - LOGAN COUNTY is looking to hire additional Box Office Staff for the Logan County Fair the week of July 31, 2023 through August 6, 2023.  We are seeking self-motivated, flexible, and responsible individuals to work shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours a day including both day and night shifts.

Box Office Staff will be selling event tickets and providing information to the public.  Those individuals selected to work in the ticket office must have cash handling experience.

Human Services Specialist-Legal Child Support

Full Time position responsible for overseeing a large caseload.  Performs a variety of entry level, complex clerical duties as needed to expedite the processing of applications, determination of paternity, establishment and enforcement of child support and medical support orders; modification of child support orders and the delivery of human service assistance. Performs analysis of legal actions either existing or required.  Monitors court orders and conducts follow up to ensure or promote compliance including providing court testimony.  Problem solves throughout history of case from birth through emancipation. Works closely with other assistance programs, custodial and non-custodial parents, employers, courts, attorneys and other entities.  Performs calculations and accounting functions necessary to determine child support orders, modification of orders, balances owed and arrears payments.  May be assigned as support staff to one or more specialty programs; i.e., Assistance Programs, or Self-Sufficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1.  HS diploma/GED;  plus Two (2) years of experience performing above or related duties;

OR

    Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
                    
2.  FBI/CBI background check and program certification will be required. 

Hourly wage:  $17.1399 per hour plus benefits to include:  Health, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance; Retirement; Paid time off (PTO).

Logan County Landfill

Landfill Operator I - Logan County is seeking an individual to perform working level and skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the county landfill using heavy duty equipment and vehicles; respond to requests and concerns from the public; monitors loads and reclaimed areas to meet state and federal permits. 

Minimum Qualifications: 
    
• High school diploma or GED. 

AND 

• One (1) year of experience in operation and maintenance of medium and heavy sized equipment; 

OR 

• An equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Special Qualifications: 

1. Must possess a valid Colorado Class “R” Driver’s License. 

2. May need to attend in-house and satellite training sessions that may last up to four days. 

3. Must be able to comply with applicable county and departmental policies and safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment. 

This is a Full-Time position, Health and Disability Insurance, Retirement, and Paid Time Off. The pay range is $17.6757 per hour to $22.6333 an hour depending on experience. Child Welfare Caseworker

Full Time position. Performs a variety of full performance advanced level complex technical and professional duties as needed to expedite child investigative services in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines and laws.

Services provided include the following child welfare areas: counseling, parent education, case planning and management involving circumstances such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, child neglect, foster care, youth in conflict, and related manners.

Conducts inquires concerning allegations of child abuse, youth in conflict, and/or neglect in home or institutional settings, interviews child(ren)/youth, parents, providers, and collaterals and assesses risk and safety to the child/youth; documents the investigative assessment process as required in the State database.

Minimum education: 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university in social work or one of the human behavioral science fields plus one year required internship/residency.

Starting Salary:  $ 20.7297 per hour – negotiable dependent on education & experience
