MOTOR VEHICLE: New License Plates are out!
The following license plates will be available July 1, 2022.
- Support Foster Familes License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1073
- Hospice and Palliative Care License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1073
- Electric License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1141 Requires all plug-in electric vehicles to be issued the plate unless they request another type of plate. Eliminates the issuance of the tab if plates are issued. Plug-in electric fees are still applicable.
- Support Pollinator Special License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1145
- Professional Fire Fighters License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1218
- Nurses Special License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1219 • Special Olympic License Plate was created by House Bill 21-1323
- Women Veterans with Disabilities License Plate was created by House Bill 21-253 For information and requirements for the above plates go to https://dmv.colorado.gov/license-plates
These plates are issued through the print on demand process and will be mailed to the customer. The Election and Recording Department can be reached at 522-1544 for voter and election questions or recording information.
