Logan County is seeking a full time individual to perform a variety of working level, basic grounds keeping tasks requiring a wide range of abilities related to turf care, sprinkler system installation, maintenance and repair; clean-up, snow removal, and other related duties. Provides overall care and cleaning of the parking lots and grounds for county facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Road and Bridge Department
Mechanic I
Logan County is seeking a full-time individual to perform skilled journey level tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of county mechanized diesel and gas equipment. Performs mechanic duties in the county maintenance facility or in the field.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent plus completion of one (1) year of specialized course work providing technical training in diesel and automotive maintenance and repair and computerized diagnostics;

2. Four (4) years of experience in major repair or a variety of gas and diesel vehicles.
OR
3. An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications:
ASE Certification desirable but not required.
Must possess a valid Colorado Class “A” driver’s license.

The Logan County Attorney’s Office in Sterling, Colorado is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the full-time position of Assistant County Attorney – Department of Human Services. The position involves the representation of the Logan County Department of Human Services in child welfare, child support enforcement and adult protection matters. Routine work activities will consist of meeting with caseworkers, preparing pleadings, motions and briefs, and appearing in court on behalf of the Department of Human Services in dependency and neglect, child support enforcement and adult protection proceedings.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently in all facets of dependency and neglect, child support enforcement and adult protection matters, including regular court appearances, and will have strong verbal and written advocacy skills and the ability to work well with others as a team. Full Time position. Performs a variety of full performance advanced level complex technical and professional duties as needed to expedite child investigative services in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines and laws.
Services provided include the following child welfare areas: counseling, parent education, case planning and management involving circumstances such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, child neglect, foster care, youth in conflict, and related manners.
Conducts inquires concerning allegations of child abuse, youth in conflict, and/or neglect in home or institutional settings, interviews child(ren)/youth, parents, providers, and collaterals and assesses risk and safety to the child/youth; documents the investigative assessment process as required in the State database.
Minimum education: 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university in social work or one of the human behavioral science fields plus one year required internship/residency.

Case Manager - CCCAP
Full Time position: Logan County manages CCCAP for 3 counties, Cheyenne, Kit Carson, and Logan. The case manager will work with child care applicants/households to explain CCCAP and a variety of other assistance programs, determine eligibility for the CCCAP program, and explain program eligibility rules and operations to applicants/participants. Work with child care providers to help them solve payment problems, attendance tracking issues, build good relationships, make sure care is opened and closed appropriately, anticipate necessary changes that may be required, and ensure proper timely payment to providers. Work with the state to help solve system problems, to offer suggestions to improve CHATS, to explain and offer suggestions on ways to improve the application and eligibility process, and to work with the state to revise CCCAP rules. The case manager also determines SNAP and Medicaid eligibility for Logan County CCCAP households. In addition, one could be expected to explain CCCAP rules and the operation of CCCAP to various community groups and providers' groups. Case managers also represent Logan County on various boards, committees, and in state work and task groups.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and Experience:

Heritage Center - Senior Citizens Center
